Melbourne and Singapore Server Regions Now Available

New production regions in Melbourne and Singapore, better Asian routes, and up to 120ms lower latency for customers in India

Today we're adding two more production regions to JetEmail: Melbourne and Singapore. Both are now part of the same anycast network as Sydney, Amsterdam, and New York, so traffic is directed to the nearest available location automatically.

Two New Regions for Asia-Pacific

Melbourne gives Australian customers another nearby point of presence, while Singapore puts JetEmail closer to customers and mailbox providers across Southeast Asia. The two regions are live for production traffic and are advertised through our anycast network alongside our existing locations.

Anycast means you do not need to change an endpoint or manually select a server. The same network addresses are announced from multiple locations, and internet routing directs each connection to the closest available region. If a location is unavailable, traffic can move to another region automatically.

Up to 120ms Lower Latency to India

The new regions and the route work around them are already making a measurable difference. Customers in India are seeing latency reductions of up to 120ms, while improved Asian routes reduce the distance and number of network hops between your application, JetEmail, and receiving providers.

Lower latency gets your messages delivered faster, especially when you're sending in bulk. That means less time waiting for large batches of transactional email, notifications, and campaigns to move through the network.

The Network We Are Building

These additions are part of a broader infrastructure plan. We are expecting to add more regions across the US, Europe, and Asia next year, giving more customers a nearby ingress point and creating more paths for reliable delivery.

For now, there is nothing to configure. Keep using the JetEmail email API or SMTP relay endpoint you already use; anycast handles the regional routing in the background.
