Postmark comparison questions
- Why is JetEmail so much cheaper at volume?
- Different billing shape. JetEmail Pro is a flat $10 a month that includes 50,000 emails, then $0.20 per 1,000 after that. Postmark's published pricing charges a base plan plus a per-1,000 rate of $1.30 on Pro and $1.80 on Basic, so the bill climbs with every extra thousand messages.
- What does the Postmark free tier include?
- Postmark's published free allowance is 100 emails a month. JetEmail's free plan is 3,000 emails a month across 5 domains with no credit card, and it does not expire.
- Does the lower price mean a smaller network?
- No. JetEmail owns its IP addresses and ASN and runs anycast egress from Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Amsterdam and New York.
- How do the log retention periods compare?
- Postmark publishes 45 days of retention on its free plan, compared with 30 days on JetEmail. JetEmail paid plans retain logs for 120 days.
- How much work is the migration?
- Add your domain, publish SPF and DKIM, then swap the SMTP host or the API key. There are SDKs for Node.js, Python, PHP and other common languages, a WordPress plugin, and integrations for cPanel and similar control panels. For a larger move, email sales@jetemail.com.
- Are there per-seat charges?
- No. Paid plans include unlimited SMTP users and unlimited sending domains, so adding an app, a customer or an environment does not change the invoice.
